Templates

For what blogging platforms are your templates for?

All the templates in the shoppe are for Blogger (blogspot.com) If you have a wordpress site, I unfortunately don’t offer WordPress pre-made templates… But I will offer custom wordpress site designs shortly.

How much are your templates?
Prices vary from one design to another as well as one package to another.

• Pre-made templates : start at 40$
• Sprinkle-my-logo Blog Designs : 150$
• Custom Treat Blog design : 350$

How much is a custom WordPress blog design?

I am working out the details and should be able to provide you with proper pricing shortly. Due to the complexity of code in wordpress self-hosted themes and the installation process prices may vary considerably depending on what you are looking for. Prices may go from  450$-1250$ price bracket. Like I said, really depends on what you are looking for. If you send me all the details, I’d be more than happy to give you a proper quote. (hosting and domain charges not included in price)

Can we change colors/fonts on a template?

In order to offer you the best price possible, pre-made template cannot be customized. The only modification permitted with each purchase is the blog title and tagline. I do offer though a choice of three different colored backgrounds. Just changing the background can drastically change the look of a design. If this option doesn’t float your boat, might I suggest purchasing the Sprinkle-my-logo Blog Design option and/or the Custom Treat Blog Design. You will have much more control with design elements.

What’s the difference between a pre-made, sprinkle-my-logo & custom treat?

• Pre-made : Sold as is, other than modification of the header and tagline no other tweeks are permitted.
• Sprinkle-my-logo: Uses an existing template but tweeked so you may have the option to change colors, header and background pattern.
• Custom Treat : Build your own blog design from scratch.

Why is there a limited quantity per template?

Each template is offered with limited quantities. That way, even though it’s a pre-made template only a limited few will have the privilege of that specific design. I wouldn’t wait too long if you like a specific design… because I will be working on a first come first served basis.

Will you be adding more templates?

Yes, I will be adding more templates and have up to 10 active templates in the shoppe. Once a blog design has sold out, a new design will replace it. Throughout the template rotation, you will find blog designs to suit almost all topics :  baby, fashion, decor, photography, wedding…etc. If you have a suggestion of a specific type of blog I should introduce in the shoppe, I invite you to contact me : templates{@}blushink.com

Process & Installation

How do I get started?

Buying a template isn’t very complicated. Its done in 3 basic steps.

1. Choose a package (pre-made, sprinkle-my-logo or Custom Treat)
2. Choose a design and/or extras
3. Proceed to payment and fill out the form

Before placing your order, I ask clients to make sure they know what they want. That way, it will make the whole process faster for me and you since you will get your template faster. I will need specific information before I can start. Therefore filling out the form with as much detail as possible is important.

How long does it take until I have my new blog design?

Depending on the amount of orders and various packages chosen… the turnaround time can vary from 2 days to 8 weeks. To give you a better idea on where I am with your blog design, I have created a “WAITING LIST” section.

I’m in the mood for a sugar rush… can I get my order sooner?

All rush orders are subject to a $60 fee which then puts you to the in front of the line. Total turnaround will be 10-12 business days once your payment is received in full.

How and when do I pay for my design?

Every pre-made templates must be paid in total in order to be placed on the waiting list. If you are ordering a custom blog design, a 50% non-refundable will be required. All invoicing and payments are completed through Paypal. When it will be in next in line, you will receive an email from me and if you have additional questions you may ask them before I go ahead and work/upload your design.

How do you install my new design?

Since installation is included in the price of a template, I will need to have access to your blogger account. This is temporary and will take a big 15 minutes, therefore if you aren’t too keen on sharing your password, then I suggest you create a temporary one for me ( example : admin, or blushink) whatever floats your boat. Once the upload is complete you can resume to your real password and I will no longer have access to your account.

Want if I want coordinating elements for use outside my blog?

It is possible. I can design blog buttons, etsy banners, badges, twitter pages and the list goes on. For a complete list with pricing, visit the shoppe extras section. Please don’t use my elements without permission or if you have not paid for it.

I don’t have a blog, can you set it up for me?

Due to the amount of blogs I design, I cannot set that up for you. But don’t worry, it’s actually quite easy. All you have to do is follow the steps provided by blogger and your blog will be online in a few minutes. I would suggest though, if you aren’t familiar with blogging, do start by creating posts, uploading pictures… basically get familiar with the platform. It will makes things much more of a breeze for the both of us.

Technical

I have a custom URL, can I redirect my blog to it?

Yes, you can do so in the settings under publishing, I unfortunately don’t offer to install your custom domain, but it’s not very complicated.

Can I still add sidebar widgets with your templates?

Yes of course!  You can add as many widgets as you’d like, drag and drop to where you’d like them to be placed on your blog. The styling for the sidebar content will be applied to the new widgets.

Will the new formatting apply to my old posts/widgets?

All the formatting will be overided by the new template. (small exception : If you modified the fonts/colors withing the blog post). Majority of the time your widgets found on your blog before the installation of the new template should remain. But I can’t guarantee it. I therefore suggest you back up all your widget content before I install the new template.

Design

I am looking for a logo, do you design those as well?

Yes of course. I am a graphic designer and I design all sorts of stuff. You can go ahead and fill out a quote form and I’ll get back to you with pricing depending on what you are interested in.

I would like to have a website design not a blog, do you do that?

Again, depending on what you are looking for and/or budget it is possible to have a website design. Please note though, that I design the look of the site but work with a programmer who knows all that complex coding.

I noticed you design invitations, will those be offered as pre-mades?

At the moment I only design custom invitations… but my plan is to offer pre-mades in the near future. Can’t say when though. But I want to. (dunno if that answers your question)
